Based on early bookings and strong floor space demand, ENTSORGA – ENTECO, the International Trade Fair for Recycling Management and Environmental Technology, looks poised to become another successful event. This three year event is organized by Koelnmesse GmbH in cooperation with the Federal Association of the German Waste Disposal Industry (BDE) and the German Engineering Federation (VDMA). Show dates are Tuesday, October 27 until Friday, October 30, 2009 in Cologne, Germany. Entsorga – Enteco connects suppliers of products and technology in the in the areas of solid & liquid waste and recycling with the private and public sectors.
Industries include supply, treatment and disposal; solid and liquid materials; water and liquid water; technology and logistics; air and noise, and renewable sources of energy.
The 2006 the Trade show brought 43,000 attendees from 110 countries together with 910 exhibiting companies from 28 countries. Attendees are key buyers representing the private sector, public sector/municipalities and waste generators from all industries. One of the highlights will a system capable of removing mercury from flue gases made available by the German company Currenta to the hazardous chemical waste industry. The Entsorga-Enteco “Trend Themes” will focus Best Practices shown in energy conservation and waste reduction.
