STRONG U.S. EXHIBITOR PRESENCE AT INTERMOT 2006

USA Pavilion Ribbon Cutting ceremony attended by high level delegation of the U.S. Embassy Berlin

Chicago, IL – September 21, 2006 – When it comes to motorcycles, scooters and aftermarket equipment the U.S. exporters are cruising along just fine. More than 50 of them will be displaying their merchandise to the international trade as well as motorcycle enthusiasts at Intermot, October 11-15, 2006 in Cologne, Germany. Among them will be market leaders such as Harley Davidson and Polaris.

To honor the strong U.S. presence at INTERMOT, a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the USA Pavilion will take place on the preview day, October 10, 11:30 a.m. in Hall 9 at the USA Pavilion Lounge A -059.

The ceremony will be attended by high ranking officials of the U.S. Embassy in Berlin among them Mr. George Ruffner, Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs and Mr. Matt Boyse, Consul General of the U.S. Consulate Düsseldorf. Alongside Mr. Oliver Kuhrt, Executive Director of Koelnmesse GmbH will be in attendance.

The majority of the U.S. exhibitors in the USA Pavilion will show Motorcycle Clothing, Quads, Safety Equipment, Scooters or Aftermarket Equipment.

October 10th is the preview day of Intermot, attendance will be only available to the International Media and Key Buyers. All subsequent days will be open for the consumers as well.

The opening of the USA Pavilion will be covered by international media and will be followed by a short reception. For more information please contact:
