LEADING INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURERS AND MAJOR BUYING GROUPS GEAR UP FOR COLOGNE.

With seven months to go, interest among manufacturers and the trade in the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR COLOGNE is strong. The event will take place from February 28- March 3, 2010 at the Koelnmesse Fairgrounds in Cologne, Germany.

Major players among the hand tool companies will be GEDORE, ROTHENBERGER, HAZET and KNIPEX. Market leaders among the Power tools and accessory companies are EINHELL, Wolfcraft and PFERD-Rüggeberg. Tools will make up the strongest of the total of 5 segments, the others being Industrial Supplies, Fastening & Fittings, Locks and Home Improvement. Cleaning machinery giants Nilfisk-ALTO and the Hailo company will lead the Industrial Supply Segment, while Hettich, GAH Alberts and HSI Schwerter will be the heavy weights in the Locks & Fittings segment.

The event is carefully laid out to provide a convenient “one-stop shopping” platform to buyers in all segments of the international hardware industry: Tools, workshop and factory equipment, industrial supplies, ironmongery, fastening and fixing technology, building and furniture fittings, locks and keys, safeguarding systems, wood, interior fittings, building components, flat-pack furniture, paints, chemical products, electrical supplies, lamps and lighting, sanitary ware and fittings, and housewares.
